It`s hard to believe eMazing Gaming has been around for 10 years, but before there was eMg there `EM` Enter Music, gaming came in 2001 and has been our focus for quite a few years. After getting close on a few occasions in 2006 and 2007 gold finally came to the eMg organization, eMg`s Counter Strike division got hot and won the WCG US Finals in a come from behind victory and then made a 4th place finish at the WCG World finals upsetting teams no one thought eMazing could hang with, include a string of other titles like the Intel Masters and KODE5 at the 2008 CES in Las Vegas, eMazing Gaming had the number 1 team in North America. In Jan 2008 eMazing Gaming after deciding not to re-sign the team (due to conduct issues) sold the team to another franchise, a lot of people in the CS community thought that was a horrible move and the end of eMg, well little did they know eMazing Gaming was going to actually fly higher then we had ever before.
In Spring of 2008 eMazing got back to its roots, music entertainment with a Guitar Hero event unlike any other, want to hang out with Rock Star`s like Bret Michaels for winning a Guitar Hero event, well in Dallas that`s what we did and it caught the eye of large sponsors and landed eMazing Gaming some nice sponsorships with a couple of the largest companies in the US, Pepsi & Papa John`s. These event`s were quickly a success and eMg received national exposure while booking into 2009 for large festival events holding up to 80k attendees for just Guitar Hero alone. While our Fire & Ice event has suffered from management changes we have finally put it on the map again with our COD 5 and CEVO Online Tournament for DoTa, not to mention our TF2 LAN event coming soon. eMazing Gaming is grateful to Dust-Off/ Falcon Safety Products for the dedication to eSports and to eMg and we look forward to helping them grow in the eSports community. Falcon Safety Products/ Dust-Off is a very large contributor to eSports through sponsorships of the WCG, Team X3O, eMg and FD as well.
In late summer eMg and new staff decided it was time to get back to business and start climbing the eSports latter once again, eMg acquired a young and upcoming COD Team that won CEVO A COD 4, a TF2 Team that went undefeated in CGS PRO AM coming in second in one of the best matches we have seen in a while against Pandemic, and still in CEVO P Playoffs, ranked 2nd, a CS 1.6 Ladies division and a CS CZ team that has never been beat 38-0. eMg is also moving into other games, the first to be debuted is WoW PVP, eMg has acquired a number of exciting and talented WoW Players and will be rotating teams as the class`s change giving us a chance to pit our best at any time.
eMg looks forward to a great 2009 season and making history like we always have and will continue to do.
